The Sidewalk Storm Drain with Grating (F-CP) is manufactured with a solid cast iron body and features a grating on the front and a hinged lid on the top to allow easier access to the manhole or collector for maintenance.
Its grate with 6 long holes allows to capture a greater amount of water towards the collector, avoiding puddles and floods and its cover can support loads of up to 6 tons, making it feasible to be installed on sidewalks without risk of fracture.
The lid can be opened by using leverage, making it quick and easy, and its hinge helps to have a better control over it.
It is worth mentioning that these parts have a special coating that protects them from wear and tear when exposed to the elements, such as the impact of UV rays, making them resistant to these as well as to oil spills, acids, temperature variations and moderate impacts.
